Minami
Ishibashi first joined 'Fushiginoiroito' as an ordinary member, but later
on she gave lectures to the rest of the group on how to photograph textile
works. She has an established career as a Textile Artist and has been on
the teaching staff at the Nihon Vogue School. In addition she also runs
her own course, called 'Tezawarioamu', at the Tokyo Textile Institute, which
explores the use of texture in knitting.
Her involvement with Fushiginoiroito has
benefited us in many ways, and she generously shared her experience and
knowledge of the Arts and Crafts with the other members.
