When I saw mountains from the distance, all that I could see were various green colours. But, as I approached nearer and nearer to the mountains, I started to see various other colours among the greens, such as red, yellow, etc. It was an unexpected surprise for me. I found that the existence of these different colours here and there among various shades of green made the over all impression of 'greenness' deeper and richer. My intention in this piece was to express this effect.
