    | | Keiko Hasegawa not only works full time but also runs a large extended family
that covers three generations. She is a mother of three children. It is
our group policy that everyone should make some sort of contribution, and
in her case her office and computer skills have been invaluable, spending
many hours preparing our catalogue for us. The logical way of thinking that
her profession demands is also reflected in the neat precision of her knitted
pieces. Her home town, Nagano, recently hosted the Winter Olympics. This
area - with its many high mountains snow-capped throughout the year, is
commonly referred to as the 'Japanese Alps'. These are the mountains that
feature as the source of her imagery.
